  1. Peel the fruits and pressure cook with a cup of water upto 3 whistles.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. When oil starts to smoke add panch phoron, then add the boiled amra sugar, salt and turmeric.
  3. Bring to a boil. Check seasoning and adjust as per requirement.
  4. Mash few Jew fruits to make the sauce thick. Add water if required.
  5. Serve cold.
