Chicken Chaap
Chicken Chaap is a traditional mughlai dish which is very popular in West Bengal. Chicken Chaap's attraction is it's rich and aromatic gravy. It is best served with biryani and is ultimate choice for any occasion.

Instructions
  1. Marinate chicken with ginger & garlic paste, greek yogurt, black pepper powder, shahi garam masala powder and paprika. Refrigerate for 4-5 hrs.
  2. Heat clarified butter in a pan. Add onion paste and fry at medium flame.
  3. When onion starts releasing clarified butter add chicken pieces with marination and salt.
  4. Cook at medium flame with lid on. Stir frequently and do not let the chicken turn brown.
  5. When Chicken is cooked dry the remaining water released from chicken.
  6. Add poppy seeds, Cashew and melon seeds paste. Mix well and fry for a minute. Add little warm water for gravy and let simmer for 5-10 mins.
  7. Now add kewra water, rose water, saffron water and meetha attar. Mix well and remove from flame after 2 mins.
  8. Serve hot with Biryani, roti, paratha or naan.
