My daughter is very fond of chicken steak. I am sharing my recipe and i am sure it’s gonna win your heart.
Chicken steak with cheesy mushroom sauce, mashed potato and stir fry garlic broccoli
In a bowl add warm milk, butter, boiled potatoes and salt.
With the help of a masher blend all ingredients to a smooth texture. If you prefer more creamy texture then add more butter and milk.
Stir Fry Garlic Broccoli
Cut broccoli florets and blanch for 1-2 mins. Strain and keep aside.
Heat oil and add minced garlic. Stir for few secs (do not burn the garlic).
Now add broccoli and salt. Fry till completely cooked and slightly browned.
Add black pepper powder and keep aside.
Cheesy Mushroom Sauce
Blanch mushroom for 1-2 mins. Strain and keep aside.
Heat butter in a pan. Add garlic and saute till it releases aroma.
Add mushroom and fry for 2-3 mins. Add cornflour and saute for a min.
Add milk and let simmer till the sauce thickens. When reached required consistency add black pepper powder, salt and cheese.
Mix well and remove from heat.
Pound chicken breast pieces. [Insert one piece at a time inside zip pouch. Press out as much air as possible and seal the pouch.
Pound the chicken thin using a rolling pin.
Marinate with salt, ginger & garlic paste.
In a bowl mix bread crumb, cornflour, baking powder and salt.
In another bowl mix beat the egg.
Put the chicken one at a time in the egg and then in the bread crumb mixture to coat well.
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Fry the chicken at medium heat for 4-5 mins on each side till golden brown.
Plate as per your taste and serve your gourmet meal hot.
