  1. Marinate prawns with salt and turmeric.
  2. Shallow fry marinated prawns in mustard oil at medium flame.
  3. In the remaining oil saute chopped onions. When onion turns translucent add ginger and garlic paste and saute till oil separates.
  4. Then add cumin powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder, saute for 15-20 secs at low flame.
  5. Add mashed potatoes and salt to the spices mixture and cook for about a minute.
  6. Now tear half of the prawn meat into small pieces and add to the mixture. Remove from flame and mix well.
  7. Take small portion of mixture and place a whole prawn in center. Shape as desire. Repeat the same with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Dip the Croquettes into beaten eggs and then roll in bread crumbs.
  9. Deep fry at medium to high flame.
  10. Serve hot with tomato ketchup and mustard sauce.
