  1. Heat oil in a pan. When oil starts to smoke add crushed garlic cloves and green chillies.
  2. Saute till raw smell of garlic is removed, then add grated carrots, turmeric and salt.
  3. Cook at medium flame with lid on till. Stir occasionally.
  4. Serve hot with chapati, paratha or naan.
