  1. Soak saffron in 1/4 cup milk.
  2. In a broad sauce pan boil remaining milk. Keep flame medium - low and stir occasionally.
  3. When milk is reduced to 1/4 add sugar, soaked saffron and cardamom powder.
  4. Keep boiling further till reached the required consistency. Check the sweetness and adjust as per taste.
  5. Serve chilled.
