  1. Grind pre soaked poppy seeds with green chillies, ginger and very little water. Grind into a coarse paste.
  2. Add chopped onion, gram flour and salt to the poppy seeds paste to form a thick batter.
  3. Heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil in a nonstick pan (preferably mustard oil). Drop  spoonful of batter in hot oil. Keep little gap between the fritters. Fry at medium flame. Carefully flip the fritters.
  4. Fry golden brown on both sides. Serve hot.
